I just got back froma week in Pennsylvania, I went up just to drive my Grandmother up there so she can have her car while there visting family. I fly back on the November 18 2006 and i get in my car to go to store to get food and stuff for the week. My transmission just died no prior warnings. I take the transmission out to find that the clutch packs are trashed and the vaule body is worn out. I call a shop i used to work in as an auto tech. and he tells me it will be 3 weeks to get the transmission in North Carolina from Arizona.
I live out in the middle of nowhere, its like 10 miles to the closest gas station. So there is no bus or any other public transportation. I am upset that it will take that long, I called my boss and said look i got back to town and car is dead gave him all the details, he was not happy but i told him you come pick me up and drop me off ill come to work. He declined doing that and that s fine. It looks like i have a month vacation ;) but im sure ill be begging to go back to work before this weekend is over.

Not to mention i have a really weird APT problem in Ubuntu Feisty, but gives me something to work on while im off work. :)
